General Pre-Operative Instructions
- Do not have anything to eat or drink after midnight the night prior to your visit. This includes mints, gum, candy, or water.
- If you take medications daily, your doctor will review them with you before surgery and provide instructions if any adjustments are needed.
- If you are wearing nail polish, acrylic nails, or gel nails, please remove them prior to your surgery date.
- You must have a responsible adult driver present during the entire duration of your appointment with a working vehicle.
- If the patient is a minor, the driver must be a legal guardian.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing on the day of your procedure.
- Do not wear contact lenses, jewelry, or heavy makeup to your appointment.
- Avoid smoking or alcohol for at least 24 hours before surgery.
- Inform our office if you are feeling unwell (fever, cold, or infection) before your appointment.
- Arrive at least 10–15 minutes early for your scheduled procedure.
